Janelle Sutton grew up in the front range of Colorado. Her fondest memories were with her first pup, Buttercup. That golden lab made an impact on her life about raising a pup and lifestyle training. They even earned that Girl Scout Pet Care badge!

She went to school for Costume and Fashion Design at Colorado State University. She earned her B.A. and M.S. there and it landed her first professional job in higher education. She managed the Costume Shop at Colorado State until 2016 and decided to leave the nest. The best decision she could have ever made. 

In Oregon she worked for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Broadway Rose, Lakewood Theater, Portland Revels, and Mt Hood Community College in design. Her theatrical background has helped in many ways with creative problem solving and client relations. In Portland here inner entrepreneurial spirit grew with her professional pet sitting career. She is always learning and engaging in professional development with dog training and  business strategy. She has been in dog adventures and dog training since 2017.
